Henry Corbin Diary

Description:

Henry Corbin was a Fourth Sergeant in Company B of the 23rd Virginia Cavalry. He served with General Jubal A. Early in the Shenandoah Valley. His diary documents his activities from April 20, 1863, up until September 22, 1864, when he was killed at the battle of Fisher Hill. He also participated in the battles of Lynchburg, Monacacy and Winchester. The pages you see here were recorded right before he was killed.
