Find videos and DVDs

Click the Library Catalog tab at the top of this page.

If you know the title of the material, use the Title search option and type in the name of the video or DVD.

If you aren't looking for a known title, start with the Words or Phrase search option. For example, to find videos and DVDs starring Katharine Hepburn, search for: katharine hepburn and (video* or dvd*). Use the asterisk to get videorecording, videocassette, and other words that start with video.

If you want to get a general idea of the types of videos and DVDs the library has, try Words or Phrase searches such as drama and (video* or dvd*).

You may also want to try Subject searches for terms like comedy films and feature films.

Once you have found the material you need, pay close attention to the call number and location located at the bottom of the screen. Most videos will be located in the basement. Most DVDs are in alphabetical order at the front of Joyner Library.
