Joyner Library Homepage

Prototype 1:

  1. Web Tour: http://media.lib.ecu.edu/sandbox/webtour/homepage.html

    1. This prototype gives the overall look and suggestion of navigation.  It was created more for the WDT to use as the develop the actual website.  So keep in mind not everything is clickable and the large pictures of the website might take some time to load.
    2. Also, if the links mess up, I apologize.  Just start from the homepage again if you get stuck.  Also within the library tab you will be able to view actual web page prototypes, about 2 per page.  Within the Database tab you can view how the tags and theme link within the description of the database.

Prototype 2:

  1. Information Center: http://web.lib.ecu.edu/sandbox/infoCenter/index.cfm

    1. This is the start of building the actual website.  At this time the framework of the information center is functional.  What is lacking is the metadata that will be provided by each department in the coming months.  Also this version has not developed the full visual design yet.  If you see white space, just remember that the Web Tour version might explain what will be in that space.
    2. Right now the only items in the Information Center are the databases, Libguides, and the web page prototypes that were created for the Web Tour.

Dessert, especially cake design, was a very traditional practice for many years, yet look at the amazing, gravity defying creations that are possible! That is what this sandbox strives for: to break the traditional ideas of design.

Come and Participate in the creative thinking process by leaving feedback or suggestions of your own!
