June 25, 1926

Miss Martha Armstrong
Lady Principal of the Teachers College
Greenville, N.C.

Dear Madam:

This is to certify that I agree for my daughter Minnie Esther Thorne to have company at the college or go to ride anytime she wishes with whom she wishes.I trust her to always do the best she knows and with your suggestions and advice I believe she will appreciate and cooperate with you in anyway possible for the uplift of herself and the college.

If it is convenient I wish you to consider this a final permanent permit and let my daughter know of this.It would cause me less trouble by not having to write anymore.

Yours truly,
I.R. Thorne
