ECU Libraries provides electronic reserves through BlackBoard. There is no limit to the number of items you can place on electronic reserve, but the libraries will not place articles on electronic reserve that are available electronically through an online database provided by ECU Libraries*. Faculty members are responsible for obtaining and keeping the copyright for all materials placed on reserve. Due to copyright laws, all electronic reserves will be removed from the course at the end of the semester unless faculty members explicitly request they be continued for the following semester.
*In BlackBoard, ECU faculty may provide permalinks directly to these articles. Not sure how to best do this? Ask a librarian!
ECU Libraries provides course-integrated instruction sessions through pre-recorded videos, tutorials, or SabaMeeting. Additionally, we will create instructional materials to assist students with library research. Instructional materials include the creation of subject specific research guides, documents that can be uploaded in BlackBoard, or tutorials tailored to your course or specific assignment. Please allow at least 2 weeks for the preparation of instructional materials.
