Distance Education
The library provides electronic reserves for online Distance Education courses only. To utilize electronic reserves you must first establish a Blackboard account; the files will be displayed and will only be accessible through your Blackboard course. There is no limitation on the number of items you can place on electronic reserve, but the library will not place articles on reserve that are available electronically through an online database provided by Joyner Library. Faculty members are reponsible for obtaining and keeping the copyright for all materials placed on reserve.
Joyner Library provides course-integrated instruction sessions via chat, Centra, or pre-recorded video and creates instructional materials to assist students with library research. Instructional materials include creation of library web pages, documents for Blackboard,or tutorials tailored to your couse. All resources and services are designed to meet the specific needs of distance students and faculty based upon class format and research topics. Please allow at least 2 weeks for the preparation of instructional materials.
