Distance Education – Listing of services Joyner Library provides for distance users.

Reference – Librarians provide research assistance and answer questions about Joyner Library.

Instruction – DE faculty members may request course specific library instruction for their classes including:

• Class web pages - Request form
• Online instruction sessions
• One-on-one research consultations
• Course guides for Blackboard or other course management systems

Note: Please allow at least 2 weeks for preparation of instruction materials.

Document Delivery – Provided for DE students living outside of Pitt County, NC.  Books, articles and other library materials provided to you by mail or e-mail.

Pull & Hold – Provided for DE students residing in Pitt County.  Place a request for books to be pulled for you and held for pick-up.

Online Renewal – Renew books online; certain conditions apply.

Computing Services – Information about computer related topics to help you get the most out of your library experience.

Resources for DE Faculty – Information about library instruction, research assistance, course reserves, and much more.

Other Services for Faculty – Information about library collection development, faculty research support, accreditation, and copyright.
